- AI Paint 1.1 is now on the Mac App Store. AI Paint brings drawing, layers and AI image creation together in a native Mac app. Start with a sketch, a photo or an empty canvas; Smart Auto Mode decides whether AI creates a new image or edits what is there. Drawing is free; AI runs on credits, or on your own OpenAI key with a one-time unlock. New AI models GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Sunburst alongside GPT Image 1 Mini, 1.5 and 2: up to 4K, up to 10 images per request and transparent backgrounds, depending on the model. Layer animation Play a layer's items as frames, with frame rate, bounce and loops. Open animated GIFs as editable frames and export your own. Vector and Compose, in beta Vector draws logos and icons from editable shapes, curves, gradients and text. Compose turns one prompt into a layout of editable text, shapes and images.
